A Six-part Group Spiritual Direction Journey
As we grow in our spirituality it may become something quite different to us and no longer seems to fit or fit comfortably into our previous tradition. Your images of and ideas about God, the Divine, may have evolved into a tapestry that is new and somehow foreign. Perhaps your spirituality has never found a tradition into which it seemed to fit. Or, maybe now it seems a montage of several spiritual paths.
If any of the above questions resonate with you, or if you would just like to explore the unique nature of your spirituality in a sacred, safe space with a group of friends traveling a similar journey, we are offering a six session spiritual direction group to meet every two weeks for six meetings. The group will meet via Zoom and be co-facilitated by Sylvia Doyle, MA, RYT and Elizabeth Buss, MA, MATS. This spiritual exploration will begin with an introductory session, a meet and greet, where everyone can become acquainted and share the desires that motivated their participation in the group and what they hope to receive from the group.
The group will meet every two weeks on Sunday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. An informal pre-group chat with the facilitators to share and ask questions will begin 15 minutes before each of the group meetings. The group will be limited to eight participants along with the two facilitators. (If the demand is great enough, we will consider creating a second group to incorporate the additional interested participants.)
The introductory session meet and greet will be held on Sunday, August 16. The group spiritual direction meetings will begin the following Sunday, August 23 and meet every other Sunday after that for six sessions. The cost for the six sessions and the meet and greet is $29.00 to be paid upon registration for the group.
